Updated competition terms:

In order to define the eligibility criteria to be more inclusive of the many health professions student perspectives that we are looking for, we have revised to competition eligibility definition to be:

* You are a student currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school, nursing school, pre-medical and, or post baccalaureate program, allied health program, or health professions program, or you are a student transitioning (currently applying or accepted) into an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school, nursing school, premedical and, or post baccalaureate program, allied health program, or health professions program.

* You are not an employed health care professional within an accredited US or Canadian medical school, nursing school, premedical and, or post baccalaureate program, allied health program, or health professions program with exception to those who are also active students (currently enrolled) in an accredited US or Canadian medical school, nursing school, premedical and, or post baccalaureate program, allied health program, or health professions program.

* You are limited to one entry for the entire competition.

Also to clarify; you may be a foreign student attending a U.S. or Canadian program, but travel prizes may be limited to the value of the domestic U.S. and Canadian values if traveling from abroad. It is also the sole responsibility of the entrant to comply with any United States tax laws for monetary prize eligibility.

We have received numerous inquiries regarding competitor eligibility and we wish to be as inclusive as possible to accommodate the health care student's perspective from any part of the health care system. As such we may not have enumerated all specific roles within our eligibility criteria. If you have a specific question regarding eligibility, please contact us at contact@mdconnector.org

The baseline criteria must include health care and active student status within the United States and Canada. Again, please contact us directly if you have questions regarding eligibility.
