Book Club!

While in college and med school, it's easy to get caught up in your studies and leave no room for play. But I think it's also important to get away sometimes.

Since high school, I've had a long list of books I've been meaning to read. As time passed, my list only grew longer. I would love to tackle my embarrassingly long list and have stimulating discussions about the material with others! So, I was wondering if anyone would like to get away with me by starting a book club! We can create a reading schedule (a very light one...I'm a slow reader  ) and use this forum to discuss the section of the book that we're covering at the time.

I've recently started reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1962) by Ken Kesey. How does that sound for our first assignment? After we read the book, maybe we can watch the movie and then discuss that too :P

I'm open to any ideas, about the books we read, the pace, and the discussions!

Anyone interested?

My wife is in a book club, they read a book I think every month and then get together on a Thursday night or something over refreshments to discuss it. Periodically they all contribute a book to the list...
