In the lives of premedical and medical students everywhere, there are countless untold stories of life experiences that are worth sharing on a CV in addition to the community as a whole. Many of these life lessons hold value not only by what was done, but oftentimes by what was learned.
In our efforts to break down the rigidity and conformity of the academic publication process, we at MD Connector invite you to reflect upon your experiences pertaining to medicine and share that with us in whatever form that best suits your expression. Be it your photos and commentary of travel in distant lands, your results from endurance and perseverance behind countless hours at the laboratory bench, or your reflections on service in your home community–we welcome your articles for review and publication.
To simplify the publication process, MD Connector has devised a peer-evaluated process that provides you dynamic feedback every step of the way.
Submissions:
- If you are considering a submission idea but would like some feedback prior to writing, use our submission form to submit an abstract (brief summary) of what you would like to write about. If you would like to discuss your ideas with the community more, we also have a forum available to do so.
- There are no rigid rules or categories for the submission of articles (we will accommodate your needs) but we ask that the material you submit be well written with proper spelling and grammar, and that they are also in a final form upon submission. File attachments and submissions can be made to submissions@mdconnector.org
- Submissions will be reviewed by our editors followed either by publication to mdconnector.org for instant viewing, or feedback will be provided to the author with the allowance of resubmission pending changes.
- Articles will be peer-read, rated, and reviewed by MD Connector readers and also MD Connector staff for selection in the MD Connector print journal that will be nationally distributed on a regular basis.
So this is your opportunity to share your thoughts, lessons, findings, stories, and more. More information about the journal, including frequently asked questions is available on the Journals page. We welcome your submissions and look forward to sharing them!
